HIMYM Season 8 Episode 4

In today's episode, the battle to be baby Marvin's godparent begin. Lily and Marshall decided against making their family legal guardians if they die, so it comes down to Ted, Barney and Robin. The fight continues throughout the entire episode. In fact Lily and Marshall have such a hard time deciding they throw a mini- game show with questionnaires and situations for the three to answer. Before they finish a fight commences since Lily and Marshall are never around. Personally, I think they should cut Lily and Marshall some slack. I mean they just had a baby, and clearly that has to be their first priority. I do understand that Ted, Robin and Barney feel a little neglected or like they're not important which wouldn't feel great but I imagine that raising your first child is bound to change everything in your life. Eventually Lily and Marshall realized they didn't know anything about their friends life anymore, so they went down the bar to apologize. They spent the night talking about what had happened in the past 5 months. In the end Marshall and Lily make all three of them god parents. I agree fully with their decision, because all three of them have qualities that little Marvin could benefit from.
