People have been wanting Jess and Nick to get together since the first season, and the show subtly hinted that Nick and Jess would be perfect for each other, and it's clear that they can better each other. Finally Jess and Nick started to confess their feelings for each other. Nick and Jess first started getting more complicated when the four of the roommates planned to hang out , but it ended up just being just the two of them. Schmidt and Winston both bailed on them to go to a club and the only way they got in is because Winston convinced the bouncer that Schmidt was Mitt Romney's son. It turns out Schmidt only wanted to go the club because ex-girlfriend Cece was there. Winston is also having trouble with girlfriend Shelby so he started checking out other girls and when he told her it was obvious he wasn't happy at all. Jess and Nick erupted into a giant fight on how much they "dont like each other" even though the more heated they get the more obvious it is that they truly care about each other. It is also very clear that Cece and Schmidt still deeply care about each other. While nothing was truly set and the words were never said but Nick and Jess will most certainly get together at some point in time.
