New Girl Season 2 Episode 4

It's CeCe's birthday in today's episode and it did not go the way Jess thought it would. Usually they spend it together watching movies, but CeCe wanted to go out with all her model friends as well. Jess makes it very clear that she isn't the biggest fan of all Cece's model friends but she reluctantly goes anyway. CeCe basically ignores her the whole time and all her model friends don't necessarily get a long so swell with Jess. CeCe and Jess get in a big fight resulting in some hitting of the breast area and Jess leaves. While I can see where Jess is coming from because her model friends aren't the best company and they do make her uncomfortable, it is CeCe's birthday and she should be allowed to do what she wants. Jess of course being her adorkable self, goes to apologize to CeCe(who had been drinking all night) and ends up doing her modeling show for her and quickly changing her mind about the level of difficulty models have to face. Zooey Deschanel (Jess) is the complete eptiome of awkward, but she looks absolutely adorable making a fool of herself. Personally whoever cast Zooey as Jess knew exactly what they were doing. The boy's friendships are shaken as well this episode when lovable Schmidt buys Nick a cookie just because, and Nick doesn't understand why he had no reason. Schmidt is quickly offended that Nick doesn't show his love the same way, and shockingly Winston agrees that Nick has intimacy issues with anyone. I can see what they're talking about, but when we see flashbacks of his past relationship breakups he is a total mess. Clearly Nick just loves more discretely then anyone in the apartment.  Although all the friendships had their obstacles, it ended on a happy note. All 5 of them sitting down watching a movie, just enjoying being with each other.
