In this episode, new very young, very hip neighbors move in the building and they quickly befriend Jess. Schmidt desperately tries to hang out with them, but its pretty obvious that they downright hate him. Jess currently works at the Casserole Shanty and she hates it. This is why she befriends the young neighbors. She feels accepted with not having a real job, and it worries the other roommates. Something else to be worried about, Nicks obsessive prank on Schmidt. Since Schmidt is so scared that he was too old to hang out with the young hipsters, Nick preformed a series of tricks like taking the soles of his shoes, and pouring urine on his bed to make it seem like Schmidt was aging faster than he was. Finally at the end of the episode, both Nick and Jess realize they need to focus their energy on something else, leading to Jess's tutoring job. Winston also got promoted to produce his own sports radio show which will be good for everyone.
