It's nothing but rough waters for the relationships on Glee tonight. Since Kurt and Rachael went to New York things haven't been so good with their significant others Blaine and Finn. In fact Blaine and Rachael technically cheated on Kurt and Finn. But then Kurt has been so busy, leaving almost no time for Blaine at all and Finn didn't even talk to Rachael for the like three months so I personally think they should have broken up in the first place. Finn left the morning after even though both Blaine and Kurt, and Rachael and Finn awkwardly slept in the same bed. Finn returns to Ohio to get some advise from Mr. Shuester, who actually got some rather good news. Mr. Shue was accepted to the blue panel for improving the arts, which is a fantastic opportunity for him. The down side being that its located in Washington D.C and his fiance Emma is not so inclined to go with him, which I think makes total sense. I mean who would want to follow your fiance around for three months, and abandon their job, and basically sit and wait for him to be done with what he needs to do. I totally understand where she is coming from. Brittany and Santana are not so great either. They actually had the most mature break up of the whole show, it was very honest and heartfelt. It was a testament to how genuinely awful long distance relationships are and it was just wasn't working for either of them. Clearly this was not a good episode for relationships. Every single one either broke up or had a fight. Including the joke of a relationship between newcomers Jake and Kitty. Jake very bluntly broke up with Kitty on the spot. Frankly it was because she wasn't the nicest tool in the shed and he was tired of dealing with it. Rachael also flew back to officially break up with Finn. So basically the whole show was a lot of break ups and a lot of money spent of flights back and forth. The ending scene was actually quite sad with Rachael giving a fantastic performance acting wise with ending her relationships that has basically lasted all three seasons. The ended the show with the song
Nobody say it was easy by Coldplay with all the couples that broke up or fought standing on the stage together. It was a well written episodes with some random awkward songs and scenes, but it ended very powerfully.
Such a great blog. You're inspirational!
